Full Online Participation

Full attendance in online learning also means that the camera is turned on for synchronous learning activities and students are actively at the screen participating. While we recognize that there are times when bandwidth problems may make this difficult, at minimum students will be asked to turn their camera on when speaking to the teacher, presenting to the class, asking questions or participating in small group work.

As with face-to-face learning, disengagement is a concern for teachers and school administration. In situations where students are not actively participating in courses, teacher will bring their concerns to parents and to Student Success to help find solutions.
